I was out deer hunting the second weekend of deer season and I had this flock of turkey around me all week. The kicker is that they were all hens, so I thought. This flock was literally roosted in the tree right behind my tree stand. When they flew down this gobbler hit the ground and immediately went into strut. I got him on film real good with my other camera, I know, doesn’t do you any good here. What made this interesting is that a hen was still on the hill behind me yelpin her head off, as you can hear on the video. Well this guy just couldn’t take it, so he flew back up the hill to the top field and strated gobblin at the hen, you would have thought it was spring time. I really think all this warm weather we had this fall really confused the birds a little. I hope you enjoy this, because I did, oh ya and fall gun season comes in Dec. 5th and I am hopeing my oldest daughter, Raley, will get a shot at one of these birds. If she does you’ll see it!!
